Mum-of-six Krechelle Carter shared snaps of her dramatic weight loss transformation on Instagram.
The influencer, from Adelaide, South Australia, shed an impressive 11st in a single year after she struggled to stand up for more than 45 minutes at a time.
Instead of putting herself through a restrictive diet, she vowed to stop being “gluttonous” and put in a lot of hard work in the gym.
She hopes to inspire others to get fit in 2021 without putting themselves through gruelling regimes or depriving themselves of indulging on special occasions.
Krechelle wrote: “Christmas 2019 and Christmas 2020 looked very different. I don’t just mean my size.
“I mean that I was able to breathe easier, run around and get everything ready and still have energy.”
She added: “I did not think about calories once because I just know now what I can have in a day without being gluttonous.
“Plus it was Christmas so if I had three to many champagnes or a second slice of pavlova I was here for it.
“The fact that I was able to loose 75kgs in the last year – just proves I can do it and I know what I’m doing.
“Special occasions won’t matter if the rest of the time your training hard and for fun, your eating to fuel your body and your moving regularly.”
Krechelle explained how cutting out convenience food and being more active helped her to slim down.
She said: “Lots of people have asked how to start – and I just started with walking and cutting out processed foods, there is no trick that works, no quick weight loss scheme.
“As you go into the new year I wanted to remind you to not feed into any restrictive punish feeling programs because long term that won’t hold up.
“Educate yourself, try things you love get moving and get waiting healthier options.
“Not eating blocks of chocolate at night can be hard but only you can make that decision.”
After treating herself during the festive period, Krechelle said she’s looking forward to getting back to her healthy lifestyle.
Krechelle explained: “Inflammation and water retention have popped up after my week of vodka and potato salad and I’m not surprised. Back to balance for me.
“I’ve got so many goals this year and I would love to share with you all more as it develops.
“For the next 30 days I will be walking and lifting everyday and moving back into my Ketoish eating! I say ish because If I need a bagel or a magnum imma do it.
“But I put in the hard work in the gym and eat mainly high protein yoghurt, meat and fruit and veg. And I’m happy and I get it done.
